This image shows a nice bamboo forest created with HD Instance.From the artist:

"I've used a lot of plug-ins and programs in my work, and few have delivered so far above-and-beyond expectations or been as easy to use as Happy Digital's HD Instance. Using HD Instance, I was able to create this bamboo-forest scene in an afternoon, with millions of leaves and thousands of bamboo stalks, without hitting virtual memory at all on a 1Ghz AMD Athalon with 256Mb of RAM. HD Instance is the only way I could achieve "ILM" quality richness with my environments, on a "mom-and-pop" budget."
